Shirley Coyle is President of Ruud Lighting Canada Corp., having served in that capacity since 1991. Prior positions include Marketing Manager for Thorn Lighting, Product Manager for Motorola Canada and Marketing & Operations Manager for Prescolite – Moldcast Canada. She has a degree from the University of Western Ontario.

She is currently District Chair of District 1 – Northeast Region; she is also currently involved with the Toronto Section Conference Committee and the Street and Area Lighting Committee.

She has served as President of the Toronto Section (1990-1991), and as Program Chair and Education Chair. She served as Chair of the Canadian Regional IES Conference (1990) and as Program Committee Member for the 1997 Regional Conference and has also served as a member of the Regional Executive Committee (1991-1999). She taught sections of ED-100 (1991-2008).
