This Technical Implementation Guide is the newest Energy Efficiency Guide for Existing Commercial Buildings (EEG-EB). Although a part of the highly successful Advanced Energy Design Guide (AEDG) series, the EEG-EB series concentrates solely on existing commercial buildings. The first in the series provided a business case for energy efficiency and was targeted to building owners and managers.

    Product Detailed Description

Specific and practical energy efficiency measures that will help achieve the goal of building sustainability while reducing energy costs are the focus of this book. Intended for building engineers and managers with a working knowledge of building systems, this guide demonstrates ways to measure a building's energy efficiency, track that efficiency, develop an energy efficiency plan, and provides guidance on implementing the developed plan. The goal is to provide clear and easily understood technical guidance for energy upgrades, retrofits, and renovations to achieve at least a 30% improvement in energy performance relative to a range of benchmark energy utilization indexes (EUIs).
