Pilot Flying J has reached a new milestone in its EV charging network, opening its 300th DC fast charging location and bringing its total to 309 sites with 1,323 individual charging ports across the United States.
The milestone represents a 50% increase in public charging locations in less than a year, with the company adding 50 new DC fast charging sites through recent expansions and upgrades at travel centers across 13 states.
According to Electrek, two new travel centers also opened in Chicopee, Massachusetts and Ponce de Leon, Florida as part of the broader rollout.
Pilot Flying J differentiates its charging experience through 24/7 site monitoring, lighting, and overhead canopies at many locations to shelter drivers from inclement weather, pairing charging access with the food, fuel, and convenience amenities already available at its travel centers.
The company positions its charging network as a destination rather than simply a pit stop, with the goal of creating spaces that drivers want to return to.
