This NABCEP board-certified training session will outline proper battery selection and sizing for off-grid & grid-connected systems using traditional deep cycle lead-acid and LiFePO4 lithium battery options.
Programming of charging setpoints for systems using flooded and maintenance-free AGM & GEL models will be covered, including hybrid inverter programming, as well as charger settings for use with LiFePO4 lithium batteries with built-in battery management systems (BMS).
We’ll also outline how to Identify and address system-related issues resulting in decreased battery performance or failure, providing suggested maintenance procedures, and offer effective troubleshooting techniques to prolong battery life.
This workshop will offer 3 CEUs applicable to recertification of NABCEP credentials.
