Andrea Saxenhofer is a strategic communications leader with more than ten years of experience in clean energy, infrastructure, B2B, and technology. She is a Senior Communications Strategist for B2B and Tech at Wright On Communications, where she advises renewable energy and cleantech clients on media relations, stakeholder engagement, community outreach and integrated communications strategies.
Andrea brings a wealth of experience supporting utility-scale solar, wind, battery storage, and grid infrastructure projects across the United States and Europe. Prior to joining Wright On Communications, she worked as an independent communications consultant on more than 20 renewable energy projects nationwide. Earlier in her career, she held senior communications and public affairs roles in Switzerland at BKW Power Grid and Swiss Post, where she led communications for energy infrastructure and national public affairs initiatives, and at the State Executive Office of the Canton of Aargau, supporting government strategy and high-level public communications.
She currently serves as Chair of Communications for the San Diego Chapter of WRISE (Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy).
Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Public Management and Policy from the University of Bern, along with a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Political Communications from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. She also earned a Digital Marketing Certificate from Columbia Business School and completed the MITx course Resolving Renewable Energy Siting Disputes.
