Attending as a Non-Exhibiting Supplier

Over the past several editions of IESNA, there has been an increase in sales-focused professionals attending events with the goal of selling to our attendees and/or exhibitors. This causes frustration across both groups.

To protect the investment made by companies who do exhibit—and to maintain the event’s integrity and value for all participants—we  have introduced a Non-Exhibiting Supplier rate. Non-Exhibiting Suppliers are not eligible for discounted registration offered through promo codes. 

Behavior Onsite

• No solicitation: Non-Exhibiting Suppliers are forbidden from selling, promoting, or distributing promotional materials for their companies or products. This practice is referred to as suitcasing. Violating this policy could result in having your registration voided, being asked to leave the event without a refund, and being banned from future shows. 
• Allowed activities: Non-Exhibiting Suppliers can engage in event activities in alignment with their registration, attending educational sessions, networking with attendees, and sourcing products from exhibitors.
