Energy solutions provider Edge Energy has collaborated with Lincoln Electric to deliver fast, reliable EV charging to locations lacking access to three-phase power.
The solution, built on Edge Energy’s solid-state digital phase conversion technology, integrates Lincoln Electric’s Velion® 50kW DC Fast Chargers with DC America’s EV charging platform, to deliver high-performance fast charging through a single-phase connection.
With a modular design supporting 100kW of output, it provides businesses, municipalities, and fleet operators with a simple, scalable charging solution that allows for fast and easy installation while reducing costs.
“This collaboration represents a significant step forward in our mission to accelerate the adoption of sustainable energy solutions,” said Shaun Shuler, CEO of Edge Energy, in a statement. “By unlocking fast charging in places where it was previously impossible, we’re helping communities and companies embrace the EV transition with greater speed, flexibility, and efficiency.”
The platform simplifies installation and reduces infrastructure costs due to its compact and versatile design, making it ideal for commercial, industrial, and public chargers.
The Edge Energy charging skids are expected to deploy beginning in Q4 2025 with units now available for order.
