Electrify America and convenience store chain Royal Farms will be offering new EV charging options at eight Royal Farms locations in Maryland.
The stations will feature Hyper-Fast chargers with speeds up to 350 kW that will help meet local demand for fast charging in as little as 20 minutes.
Royal Farms’ Halethorpe and Oxon Hills locations currently have operating chargers, with new stations set to open in Annapolis, Catonsville, Charlotte Hall, Columbia, Pikesville, and Towson. In total, the collaboration will bring more than 55 individual chargers across eight locations in the state.
The chargers will become part of Electrify America’s fast-growing network of over 1,000 stations and 5,000 individual chargers nationwide.
“Our collaboration with Royal Farms brings Hyper-Fast charging to the places drivers already know and visit regularly,” said Anthony Lambkin, vice president of operations at Electrify America, in a statement. “By combining speed and convenience, we’re helping make the EV experience more effortless, whether you’re on a daily commute or taking a longer road trip.”
Customers will be able to enjoy access to fresh food and beverages in addition to fast, seamless charging, making Royal Farms locations convenient and comfortable places to recharge.
