Dr. Mike Tabrizi, PhD, PE, serves as President and Chief Engineer of Zero-Emission Grid, a leading firm specializing in project development engineering, grid interconnection, and proprietary tools for grid siting and due diligence.
With over 30 GW of generation and large load projects and approximately 1,100 miles of transmission expansion under his belt, Dr. Tabrizi has served as Principal Engineer and Subject Matter Expert in regulatory approvals, interconnection, and detailed design for major energy infrastructure initiatives. He has also led several high-profile transmissions planning efforts, including PJM Offshore Transmission State Agreement Approach, NYSERDA’s long-term offshore transmission planning, ERCOT CREZ and North-to-Houston Transmission Projects, Integration of LP&L into ERCOT, Integration of Rayburn Electric from SPP to ERCOT and Lower Rio Grande Valley Transmission Projects
Prior to founding Zero-Emission Grid, Dr. Tabrizi was Vice President of Power Grid Strategy at Lancium, and before that, led the North America Power System Advisory Division at DNV Energy Systems.
