Brad Heavner

Brad leads California’s state-level trade group of 650 businesses working in customer solar and storage. He has been with CALSSA since 2013, where he works on rate design, interconnection standards, and grid service programs, and oversees all of the organization’s work in the legislature, CPUC, and CEC. Brad has twenty-five years of clean energy advocacy experience with statewide and national organizations. He is the author of dozens of research reports written for statewide policy campaigns across the country. He has led initiatives for low-emission vehicle standards, greenhouse gas reduction frameworks, renewable energy mandates, and many other clean energy policies.
