Lewis Butler

Lewis Butler is a Senior Account Executive at TotalEnergies, where he leads commercial solar project development from site assessment through financing. With over eight years in the industry, he has developed projects across 50+ ground and rooftop sites and is actively involved in state-level renewable energy policy. Lewis holds a B.S. in Economics from Hillsdale College and an M.A. in Economics from George Mason University. He serves as Board President of ISEA (Illinois Solar & Storage Energy Association) and previously has held board or advisory roles with MOSEIA, ISETA, and ASGA. In 2020, his dog-bone-shaped solar array for a pet treat manufacturer won Solar Builder Magazine’s C&I Project of the Year.
