The fifth annual tournament tasked installer teams with building on- and off-grid residential solar and storage systems using components generously donated by sponsorsĀ EG4 Electronics,Ā Fronius,Ā K2 Systems,Ā LONGi,Ā Milwaukee Tool,Ā Rolls Battery Engineering,Ā Roof Tech,Ā SolaDeck,Ā Solar Tools, andĀ Tigo Energy.Ā Huston SolarĀ has won the 2025 Solar Games and took home a $10,000 cash prize.Ā Sandbox SolarĀ took second place, receiving $3,500, andĀ Power Northwest IncorporatedĀ took third, receiving $2,500. Equipment was donated toĀ Twende Solar, a nonprofit that empowers under-resourced communities with renewable energy systems.
