2026 Solar Games Highlights
The sixth annual tournament tasked installer teams with building on- and off-grid residential solar and storage systems using components generously donated by sponsors APsystems, EG4 Electronics, Fronius, K2 Systems, Rolls Battery Engineering, Roof Tech, SolaDeck, Solar Tools, and Tigo Energy.
Power Northwest won the 2026 Solar Games and took home a $10,000 cash prize. Cape Fear Energy Systems took second place, receiving $3,500, and Capital City Solar took third, receiving $2,500.Â
New for 2026, the championship round was streamed by our partner Energize US Inc, a national educational organization combining education, real-world leadership, and industry partnerships to create lasting careers in the skilled trades.
Equipment was donated to Twende Solar, a nonprofit that empowers under-resourced communities with renewable energy systems. Watch this video to learn more about Twende Solar’s projects.
