HiTHIUM Ships First Energy Storage Systems from New Texas Plant

Global energy storage technology company HiTHIUM has completed its first shipment of energy storage systems from its new Texas manufacturing plant.

The milestone, which took place on August 28, marks the company’s transition from construction to full-scale production in North America.

According to Energy Storage Pro, the Mesquite facility is the company’s first U.S. system manufacturing center.

With an annual capacity of 10 GWh, the plant allows for faster response times, reduced lead times, and consistent quality standards.

The facility shines a spotlight on sustainability and community engagement with its energy efficient processes, low-carbon materials, and support of the local workforce. It is expected to create new jobs and growth opportunities for the Mesquite region.

“Our first shipment from Texas is more than a production milestone—it’s a promise to our U.S. customers. Local manufacturing lets us meet American standards, respond quickly to demand, and work with communities and partners to drive the clean energy transition,” said James Boswell, Vice President of HiTHIUM North America Operations.

HiTHIUM will leverage the Texas plant as a hub for innovation and supply chain collaboration as it accelerates the deployment of clean energy projects across North America.
