PTM Solar’s community solar customer relationship management (CRM) and operational platform, SunTracker, is scheduled to launch by Summer 2026 to support distributed solar sales teams across the country.
The platform is a direct response to the over 7 gigawatts (GW) of total installed community solar capacity in the U.S., with projections signaling continued multi-state growth. According to industry analysts, the sector is expected to expand significantly in New York, Illinois, Maine, and Minnesota, in particular.
Many solar organizations are seeking ways to manage decentralized sales teams, track deal flow across multiple utilities, and ensure their commission reporting for independent contractors is accurate. The SunTracker platform addresses these issues by creating a hub that centralizes sales management, reporting, and operational data.
“Community solar is scaling quickly, but the operational side has not kept pace,” said Ryan McManus, President and Founder of PTM Solar, in a statement. “SunTracker is being built from real-world experience to help companies manage sales activity, support their teams, and keep reporting accurate as they grow.”
The platform provides performance dashboards for real-time sales visibility, automated commission reporting for accounting and payroll teams, training and compliance resources for sales reps, and more.
The company will provide onboarding support to assist with product offerings based on each organization’s individual operating models.
PTM Solar anticipates SunTracker will become available to community solar organizations nationwide following its release this summer.
