WEX Broadens EV Charging Access with New Partner Network

WEX, a commerce platform, has formed new partnerships with charge point operators Lynkwell and Revel, as well as payments integration platform Ampcontrol, to expand its EV charging network.

The collaborations will allow hundreds of U.S. charging stations to accept payments from WEX users, enabling them to access an extensive EV charging network that is tailored to mixed-energy fleets.

According to Charged EVs, the WEX EV En Route solution provides drivers access to over 150,000 public charging ports, including EVgo, Blink Charging, EV Connect, ChargePoint, FLO, AmpUp, EvGateway, Noodoe, and more. Users will be able to connect to the stations through the DriverDash mobile app or by using a universal WEX EV RFID card.

The partnership deals come after WEX EV Depot debuted in April 2025, which facilitates simple and secure charging at private chargers by using the WEX fleet card. While WEX already offers its public charging En Route and At-Home solutions, it now enables EV charging payments across depot, public, and at-home charging locations.

“Bringing a diverse range of CPOs into the WEX EV network marks a major step forward for fleet operators nationwide,” said Carlos Carriedo, Chief Operating Officer, Americas Payments & Mobility at WEX, in a statement. “By integrating our payment processing technology and syncing transaction details and RFID numbers from charging stations across multiple providers, we’re streamlining the EV charging experience and giving organizations the data they need to make smarter, more strategic operational decisions.”
