Daniela Shapiro is Senior Managing Director – Investments of HASI, a leading investor in sustainable infrastructure assets. She is responsible for growing the company’s investments in behind-the-meter opportunities and expanding solutions for broader onsite and as-a-service offerings.
Prior to joining HASI in 2022, she served as the Chief Financial Officer for Guzman Energy and held various other executive positions, including at SoCore/ENGIE. Before her corporate executive roles, she worked in the banking industry for 10 years, where she was responsible for deploying capital in energy and infrastructure assets, including tax equity investments in renewable energy projects.
Ms. Shapiro received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UNIFEI in Brazil and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
