Commercial and Industrial (C&I) PV System Interconnection Concepts
Presented by Solar Energy International (SEI) | 8 AM to 12 PM
This workshop will introduce the important concepts of designing and interconnecting PV systems to a three-phase utility grid as part of a commercial or industrial building electrical system.
Marshall Brunson, Curriculum Developer and Trainer (SEI), will review the most common three-phase utility configurations and discuss the information necessary to complete a C&I PV system design. The workshop will share examples of C&I electrical equipment and discuss methods for how and where to interconnect a PV system on C&I sites. Attendees are eligible for 3.5 JTA.
2026 NEC Solar and Storage Code Updates
Presented by Bill Brooks (Brooks Engineering) and Sean White (HeatSpring/White House Energy) | 9 AM to 12 PM
This workshop will examine the 2026 NEC PV Code updates, taking a deep dive into Articles 690 (PV Systems), 706 (Energy Storage Systems), 705 (Interconnections), and more.


Bill Brooks, Principal (Brooks Engineering) and Sean White, Solar Energy Professor, Consultant, and Author (HeatSpring/White House Energy) will guide attendees through new wordings and structural shifts impacting how solar and energy storage systems are designed and installed. Attendees are eligible for 3 hours of NABCEP NEC credits.
