Brent Buchberger

As Vice President of Project Development at Summit Ridge Energy, Brent leads a team focused on community solar projects and manages due diligence on solar portfolio acquisitions. Since starting in the commercial power industry in 2007, he has dedicated more than ten years to the design, development and construction of utility and distribution level solar power plants across the United States. Prior to Summit Ridge, Brent was a Project Development Manager with ENGIE Distributed Renewables and a Project Engineer with First Solar. Brent holds a P.S.M. in Solar Energy Engineering and Commercialization from Arizona State University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
