Simon Ouellette is the CEO of ChargeHub, where he leads the company’s strategy to enable large-scale collaboration across the electric vehicle charging ecosystem. He works closely with automakers, charging networks, utilities, and public-sector partners to advance interoperability and improve the end-to-end charging experience for EV drivers. With a focus on long-term partnerships and industry alignment, Simon brings a systems-level perspective on how collaboration is accelerating the transition to electric mobility.
Simon holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, where he managed the University’s Vehicle Energy Research & Technology (VERT) Lab, focusing on advanced vehicle and energy systems. Building on this deep technical foundation, he co-founded ChargeHub’s parent company, Mogile Technologies, in 2013, at a time when electric vehicles were just beginning to emerge. From the outset, his work was driven by a clear goal: addressing the structural and ecosystem challenges that were limiting EV adoption—an approach that continues to shape ChargeHub’s partnership-driven strategy today.
