Mikkela started at OneEnergy in 2022 with a primary focus on development in the Western region of the United States. In 2024, she joined OneEnergy’s Community Solar team and has been actively advancing CS pipeline in both Western markets and the state of Illinois since, with a primary focus in ComEd territory. Prior to her work in renewables, she was active in the sustainable agriculture/food systems space, and continues to be passionate about food. She attended graduate school in Boulder, CO, where she currently lives with her husband, daughter, and dog.
