ARRAY Technologies, a New Mexico-based provider of solar tracking, foundation, and software solutions for utility-scale projects, has launched ARRAY Atlas, a new suite of foundation-to-tracker solutions designed to improve technical interoperability between its solar trackers and APA Solar foundations.
APA Solar, acquired by ARRAY in 2025, is a solar racking and foundations solutions provider that now operates as an ARRAY company, and the Atlas suite represents the first major integrated product to emerge from that combination.
The product addresses a longstanding gap in utility-scale solar construction, where the interface between foundation and tracker has historically been handled with commodity steel components that were never engineered as part of an integrated system.
Atlas is available in two configurations. Atlas I is designed for standard soil conditions, using a shortened driven foundation connected to the tracker through an adjustable rolled steel component that reduces deformation risk and improves procurement flexibility by reducing reliance on commodity steel beams.
Atlas II is designed for challenging soil conditions, using engineered foundations such as helical piles or ground screws with a dual-leg interface that reduces component count by 70% compared to ARRAY’s existing APA A-Frame product and improves adjustability for varied terrain.
