Jim Wood serves as the CEO and President of SEG Solar, a Houston, Texas-based company dedicated to building the best Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) for solar energy. Operating from North Carolina, Jim brings over twenty years of experience in the solar industry. He has successfully led teams in selling over 6GW of solar panels to a diverse range of utility, commercial, and distribution partners. Jim co-founded SEG Solar 7.5 years ago and has been instrumental in its growth ever since. Before transitioning to the solar industry, he had a successful career in finance with Merrill Lynch. He is also a former NABCEP certified Solar Installer. Throughout his career, Jim has held key positions at two other tier 1 module suppliers, managing sales across the eastern USA and North America.
