Sol-Ark, OpenSolar to Simplify Storage System Design and Proposal Generation

Sol-Ark, a U.S.-based provider of hybrid inverter and battery energy storage solutions (BESS), has announced a partnership with OpenSolar, a free end-to-end platform for solar professionals, allowing installers to design, model, and generate proposals for Sol-Ark-powered solar-plus-storage systems directly within the OpenSolar platform.

The integration gives installers access to Sol-Ark’s full portfolio of hybrid inverters and battery energy storage configurations inside OpenSolar, where they can model system performance, evaluate backup capabilities, and produce customer proposals without switching between platforms.

The partnership is aimed at reducing design complexity and improving proposal speed and accuracy for both residential and commercial projects.

“As demand for resilient, energy-independent power solutions continues to grow, installers need technology that removes friction from every stage of the sales and design process,” said David Norman, Director of Product Marketing at Sol-Ark, in a statement.

OpenSolar serves thousands of solar professionals globally, supporting everything from lead generation and system design to project management. The Sol-Ark integration is available now for proposal generation within the platform.

Norman continued, “By bringing Sol-Ark products into OpenSolar, we’re making it easier for installers to create accurate system designs, generate professional proposals, and confidently deliver reliable solar-plus-storage solutions to their customers.”
