Smart energy technology leader SolarEdge Technologies Inc. announced it has officially produced its 250,000th solar inverter at the Flex facility, located in Austin, Texas.ย
The milestone is a landmark achievement for its U.S. manufacturing operations and marks a pivotal moment in the companyโs efforts to strengthen its domestic manufacturing, energy resilience, and job offerings nationwide.ย
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has proclaimed June 2, 2025, as โSolarEdge Flex Manufacturing Day,โ as a result, paying tribute to the company’s economic, environmental, and technological impact of the SolarEdge-Flex partnership with the state.ย
The company partnered with global manufacturing leader Flex to build a domestic supply chain and has made strides toward onshoring its manufacturing operations. The Austin facility, now having produced a quarter of a million inverters, will join the SolarEdge products that have already been utilized on over 3.7 million homes throughout the country.ย
