Verdek has announced that the Tesla V4 Supercharger is now available to U.S. federal agencies through its existing General Services Administration (GSA) contract, allowing agencies to access one of the country’s fastest charging networks without going through a lengthy procurement process.
The Tesla V4 Supercharger delivers up to 500 kilowatts (kW) per post and supports both NACS and CCS1 vehicles, making it compatible with a broad range of federal fleet vehicles.
With Tesla’s Supercharger network spanning more than 80,000 chargers globally and reporting 99.95% uptime, federal agencies gain access to infrastructure built for consistency across state lines, remote installations, and long logistics corridors.
“Reliable charging infrastructure is essential to a successful electrification of the US federal fleets,” said Guy Mannino, CEO of Verdek, in a statement. “Federal agencies — including the Department of Defense, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy — operate EVs across bases, training facilities, logistics corridors, and mission-critical locations throughout the country. They need charging infrastructure that is scalable, dependable, and supported by a broad national network.”
The GSA contract is already in place, allowing agencies including the Department of Defense, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy to move from decision to deployment in weeks rather than months. Tesla reviews and approves each customer individually as part of its broader mission, and Verdek facilitates that process for eligible federal clients.
Verdek currently serves more than 1,200 government, nonprofit, and commercial clients nationwide and provides end-to-end support for EV charging projects including planning, design, engineering, procurement, installation, and ongoing maintenance.
