Storage is no longer a future technology; it is deploying at scale across the Midwest. But as projects move from development into operations, a new set of challenges is emerging. This panel will evaluate the distribution-connected storage landscape across both front-of-the-meter (FTM) and behind-the-meter (BTM) applications, including the operational realities and distinct value each delivers. Panelists will also address how Illinois’ CRGA Act is creating new procurement pathways and what that means for developers and capital allocators. Attendees will leave with a clear-eyed view of what the storage business model actually looks like, as well as the risks smart developers are already planning for.
