Storage is no longer a future technology; it is deploying at scale across the Midwest. But as projects move from development into operations, a new set of challenges is emerging. This panel will evaluate the storage landscape across MISO and PJM, including shifting capacity accreditation rules, revenue stacking uncertainty, supply chain constraints, and the operational realities of managing merchant exposure in two very different markets. Panelists will also address how Illinois’ CRGA Act is creating new procurement pathways and what that means for developers and capital allocators. Attendees will leave with a clear-eyed view of what the storage business model actually looks like five years out, as well as the risks smart developers are already planning for.
