At Modo Energy, I lead a team that specializes in analyzing, understanding, and communicating actionable insights surrounding the grid-scale solar+storage business case in the ISO/RTO markets across North America.
This entails analyzing recent historical and present day market outcomes and how those were shaped by the participation of technologies like battery energy storage, as well as understanding how individual resources maximize their revenue capture in a given market environment.
It also consists of following policy changes and projecting the evolution of the power system to understand the impact on and reduce uncertainty in how we power markets and ultimately revenue opportunities and outcomes to evolve in a given market over the lifetime of a resource’s offtake or project financing.
Prior to joining Modo Energy, I was a Power Systems Engineer at ERCOT, where I held multiple roles in Operations Engineering, including sitting as a Shift Engineer in ERCOT’s control room.
