Brian Mehalic has over 22 years of experience designing, installing, inspecting, and servicing all types and sizes of PV and energy storage systems, and he has delivered training to thousands of students ranging from engineers and technicians to manufacturers and building officials.
Brian began his career at EV Solar Products, Inc.; he worked as Project Engineer developing large-scale PV systems for O2 Energies; spent many years as a curriculum developer and instructor for Solar Energy International; and he co-founded SEI Professional Services (bought by Bowman Consulting Group in 2022), which focused on utility-scale engineering and field services.
He has been a member of NEC® Code-Making Panel 4 since the 2020 cycle and participates on the NABCEP PVIP JTA and ESIP exam committees.
