Brice Sheriff is Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs and Energy Supply for Ameren Illinois Company (Ameren Illinois). As Senior Director, Mr Sheriff is responsible for overseeing regulatory matters and interactions with the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC), including but not limited to overseeing the customer complaint process, franchise agreement updates, regulatory activity related to transmission certificate cases, tariff filings, other recurring and non-recurring filings, and the submission of other documents to the ICC, as well as Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA). He is also Ameren Illinois’ In-State Agent. In addition to his regulatory responsibilities, Mr. Sheriff has direct leadership oversight of Ameren Illinois Power Supply Acquisition and Gas Supply Functions.
Prior to joing Ameren Illinois Company in 2014 as Director, Regulatory Affairs, Mr. Sheriff was a Lobbyist with Illinois Strategies, LLC, the Chief of Operations for the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), the Deputy Director for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the Director of Governmental Affairs for IDOT, and a Research Analyst at the Illinois House of Representatives.
Mr. Sheriff earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from McKendree College in 1997. He also serves the community as a board member for The Energy Assistance Foundation.
