Cris is the CEO & founder of Ever.green, a platform that brings companies interested in decarbonizing their footprint to new clean energy projects accelerating the energy transition. Ever.green’s High-Impact REC contracts offer businesses direct ways to enable new renewable projects – delivering real, additional clean energy without the complexity or risk of traditional VPPAs.
Cris’ past positions include the CEO of NAES, the COO of CPS Energy and the first Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Houston. With a background in electrical engineering (MIT PhD) and strategy (McKinsey partner), Cris brings a mix of technical expertise and business acumen to solving today’s energy challenges.
Cris has been involved with a number of non-profit and advisory boards including appointment by the Governor of Puerto Rico to the Blue Ribbon Task Force for the island’s energy transition, Chairman of SEPA, the DOE’s State Advisory Board, others.
