Jeanine Otte is the Senior Director, Corporate Partnerships at Elevate, a nonprofit organization that designs and implements programs that bring clean and affordable heat, power, and water to homes and communities. In this role, Jeanine develops programs and partnerships with corporations, foundations, and community partners to advance Elevate’s mission of equity through climate action. In her 15+ year career at Elevate, Jeanine has been instrumental in piloting and scaling impactful program models that center and expand community knowledge, build wealth, and protect the environment.
Prior to joining Elevate, Jeanine worked for a city council person advancing environmental practices and policies that benefited communities such as the BPA Free Kids Ordinance making Chicago the first city in the country to ban the toxic chemical bisphenol A (BPA) from children’s products. Prior to this, Jeanine was an organizer for a labor union, political campaigns, and a community-based organization.
In her free time, Jeanine likes to write and perform poetry, advocate and educate to end gender-based violence, and spend time with her family.
