Jessica Maldonado

After serving as the communications lead for the Iowa Solar Energy Trade Association for many years, Jessica recently assumed the role of Executive Director to help with organizational management and leadership. Through the years, Jessica has helped advocate for Iowa’s solar industry and tell the story of its economic importance to the state. In addition to her role with ISETA, Jessica serves as the Vice President of Public Affairs at PolicyWorks where she leads public relations activities, including media relations, digital strategy, grassroots communication and more. She is a graduate of ABI’s Leadership Iowa program, Drake University’s “Leading Others” program, a Des Moines Business Record “Forty Under 40” honoree, a graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, and past president of the Clive Chamber of Commerce. Jessica graduated from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO, with a BA in Communication–Journalism and a minor in Spanish.
