Julie Wright is President of (W)right On Communications, Inc., an integrated strategic communications and public relations firm named one of America’s best by Newsweek and Forbes. Based in San Diego with a satellite office in Seattle, Wright and her team handle complex communications challenges for innovators, difference makers and industry leaders and specialize in clean technologies, renewable energy and zero-emission mobility.
Wright serves on the boards of the California Travel Association, a nonprofit industry advocacy organization, as well as Innovotech, Inc., a publicly-traded Canadian life sciences company. In 2025, she was honored as San Diego’s Communicator of the Year by the International Association of Business Communicators and presented with the San Diego Press Club’s Andy Mace Award for Outstanding Contribution in Public Relations.
Wright holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of B.C. and a Master of Journalism degree from the University of Western Ontario. She is a graduate of Leadership North County and the Corporate Directors Forum Governance Academy.
