Kevin is an experienced advocate for clean energy at the state and federal levels. In his current role, Kevin manages state and federal policy for SunVest Solar, one of the nation’s leading developers of Commercial/Industrial and Community Solar projects.
Kevin has played a leadership role in renewable energy policy for nearly two decades. He was co-founder and Executive Director of the Illinois Wind Energy Association from 2007-2011, and Public Policy Manager for regional trade group Wind on the Wires for six years subsequent. In 2017, Kevin made the jump to the solar industry, serving as Midwest Policy Director for Cypress Creek Renewables before coming to Canadian Solar in late-2019. After a brief stint consulting for the Coalition for Community Solar Access, he joined SunVest in mid-2021.
After hours, Kevin is a runner, climber, mountain biker, gravel biker, bike activist, traveler, wannabe musician, woodworker, aspiring polymath, and part-time adrenaline junkie. He has too many hobbies.
