Battalion Chief Rob Rezende from San Diego Fire-Rescue is the newly created Regional Alternative Energy Emergency Response Coordinator for San Diego County. Chief Rezende has been with the San Diego Fire-Rescue department for over 17 years. He has been on the Hazmat team since 2008 and has run the program since 2022. His focus is to prepare first responders in the region to safely manage emergencies related to alternative energy.
