Troy Hammond

Troy Hammond has 30 years of strategic, technical and high-growth executive leadership experience. Troy is currently the CEO of Convergence Energy, a leading Solar and Battery Storage project developer. He also built Plextronics — a material science startup that commercialized novel electronic materials for solar and lighting. Previously, he was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Co. where he served Midwest electric utilities, President of BlueStar Energy’s demand side management business, and — for a decade — the President of North Central College in downtown Naperville. Troy has served on several for-profit and not-for-profit Boards and is currently the Chair of the Board of OWP Pharmaceuticals. Troy has a PhD in Physics from MIT and degrees from Milligan University and Georgia Tech.
