Zach Woogen

Zach Woogen is the Executive Director for the Vehicle-Grid Integration Council (VGIC), where he leads policy and market development efforts for smart charging, vehicle-to-everything bidirectional charging, and DER-paired charging technologies. Zach’s expertise includes utility rate and DER program design, interconnection rules and regulations, and EV charging infrastructure investments in the leading VGI markets. Zach also supports go-to-market strategy for clients in the V2X and smart charging space. Zach has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics and Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
