  • Wednesday Breakfast:
The Energy State: Texas’ Role in the Future of Clean Energy

Wednesday, November 19 from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM

Texas has cemented its position as a national leader in solar and storage deployment, but what’s next for the Lone Star State when it comes to clean energy? In this timely breakfast presentation, Joshua D. Rhodes, PhD, breaks down where things stand in Texas and what the future holds for the state’s solar and storage leadership, now that lawmakers have stepped back from efforts to restrict renewables. From evaluating the state’s growing clean energy generation portfolio to dissecting transmission bottlenecks and the grid’s evolving role, Dr. Rhodes will explore how Texas can continue to lead — on its own terms. Join us for a candid look at the strengths, flexibility assets, and potential vulnerabilities of Texas’ clean energy market.
