Neil Maguire

Neil Maguire leads Scale Microgrids technology development for microgrids and data center power plants. Neil previously served as the CTO of Schneider Electric’s Prosumer business. At Scale, Neil’s organization develops microgrid controls and cloud software to integrate and optimize the performance of batteries, solar, prime power natural gas generators and switchgear. Under his leadership, his teams delivered large-scale off-grid and grid-tied microgrids, award-winning mobile apps, cloud software, machine learning models and data analytics to enable customers to reduce their electricity bills, improve resiliency and reduce their environmental impact. Neil also founded an energy storage company and worked in semiconductor, automotive, and battery manufacturing. He holds a BS in Materials Science from Michigan State, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, and an MBA from Oakland University.
