APA Solar Racking, an ARRAY Technologies company and solar racking and foundations solutions provider, has opened a new 30,000-square-foot headquarters on its main manufacturing campus in Ridgeville Corners, Ohio.
The new building will bring together customer-facing roles, business functions, engineering, and manufacturing under one roof, with the goal of fostering collaboration and accelerating innovation.
It will also serve as the home of APA’s Foundations Center of Excellence, which will advance foundation innovation for sites with challenging soils and frost-heave conditions and strengthen technical interoperability between APA foundations and ARRAY tracker solutions.
The campus is set to include a research, testing, and training center for new product development, as well as a 5-acre solar site for product innovation.
āThe integration of APA Solar into ARRAY has exceeded our expectations, and this investment in the Ohio campus reflects our confidence in what this team can deliver as we accelerate growth in the utility-scale market,ā said Kevin G. Hostetler, Chief Executive Officer at ARRAY, in a statement.
APA Solar has maintained its primary operations in Ohio since its inception in 2008. The new headquarters reinforces the company’s commitment to domestic manufacturing and long-term investment in the local community.
Hostetler continued, āThe new headquarters and Center of Excellence will tighten collaboration across our engineering, manufacturing, and commercial organizations, shortening the path from development to customer value.
