South Korean battery energy storage solutions provider DeltaX has announced plans to establish its North American manufacturing headquarters in Walton County, Georgia, creating approximately 250 jobs and representing a $141 million investment in the state.
The announcement was made by Governor Brian Kemp.
The new facility will be located at the Piedmont Regional Industrial Park in Monroe, Georgia, where DeltaX plans to develop a comprehensive manufacturing campus on approximately 25 acres.
The first phase will include a 100,000-square-foot battery energy storage system (BESS) assembly facility, with additional manufacturing buildings dedicated to key component production planned for subsequent phases. A separate corporate office building is also planned as part of the integrated campus.
“Our Georgia facility will serve as the manufacturing hub for North America, enabling us to provide world-class Battery Energy Storage Systems more efficiently while creating high-quality jobs and supporting America’s rapidly growing demand for reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure,” said Stephen Kim, Founder & CEO of DeltaX, in a statement.
DeltaX develops BESS, battery management systems, and AI-powered energy management technologies for utility-scale projects, renewable energy integration, AI data centers, and commercial and industrial applications.
The Georgia facility will serve as the company’s primary base for North American manufacturing and corporate operations as it looks to grow its presence in the U.S. market.
