Ben Lavoie

Ben Lavoie is Sr. Director of Energy Storage and Electric Vehicle Solutions with Ameresco, a leading cleantech integrator and energy services company operating in North America, the UK, and Europe. In this role, he focuses on energy storage, microgrid, and renewable energy project development, primarily for U.S. Federal Government and Utility customers. His experience in the energy storage & EV industries spans over 14 years. Prior to Ameresco, Mr. Lavoie worked at A123 Systems, NEC Energy Solutions, and GM Energy in roles spanning R&D, manufacturing, and product management. Mr. Lavoie holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Energy Systems both from Northeastern University, and is a Fellow of the Gordon Institute of Engineering Leadership. Mr. Lavoie resides in Portland, Maine.
